Improving Your Gut Health

Improving our immune system is more important now than ever! Our digestive track is a key component of our immune system! The way we eat can make a huge difference on our gut health and as a result our immune system! Make it a goal to include more foods that help keep your gut healthy.

Prebiotics are foods that contain special fibers which help healthy bacteria grow in our guts… apples, bananas, barley, flaxseeds, garlic, onions, green vegetables, legumes, oats, tomatoes, soybeans, barley… and pretty much all plants.

Probiotics are foods containing live, active microorganisms… sauerkraut, kefir, pickles, kombucha, tempeh, yogurt, miso, some cheeses, amongst others.

Eating more plant based meals can not only help improve our immune system… it can also help lose weight, control blood sugars, improve cholesterol and triglycerides, improve your mood, and many other things!

Let’s eat more plants! You won’t believe the difference it makes in the way you feel!
